This recipe was given to me when we went to Mackenzies Smoke House, in Blubberhouses, near Harrogate. They produce superb smoked salmon, among other smoked products. Well worth a visit.
Smoked Salmon Pate

Ingredients
200g smoked salmon, cut into pieces.
100g cream cheese.
100g crème fraiche.
1 tbls lemon juice.
1 tbls horseradish sauce.
2 tsps fresh dill (chopped)
Ground pepper to taste.
Directions
Mix all the ingredients in a food processor or blender.
Blend until smooth. Put into pots.
Scatter dill over the salmon pate and chill in the fridge.
Serve with rounds of toast, or good quality bread and butter.
